4 Months!!

My how time flies. Emmett is now 4 months old. He's doing a better job sleeping through the night. Putting him down for the night is not such a battle - thank goodness! He'll sleep anywhere from 6 hours to 11 hours. It's a pretty big range and one never knows which one it will be. We go for our 4 month check up next week!

Emmett rolled over a couple of times for Grandma - but hasn't done it for mom and dad yet. He also found his hand. He likes to stick it in his mouth. Emmett is also into textures, feelings things and playing with them. And much to my dismay, he's losing his hair. He has no hair in the front but a lot in the back. He has a baby mullet. I don't like it. But I still think he's pretty darn cute.

xMas Pt III

here 'tis. The last of the SoCal xMas videos. 

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season! We were busy bees the last couple of weeks and happy to be back home. We headed down to Southern California and spent 7 days with my parents and then headed straight to Ben's parents place. We planned to stay there for a couple of days but we enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed there for 4 nights! Ben and I were very excited to introduce Emmett to Great Grandma (Gigi) and Great Grandpa!

We hit a lot of milestones over the holidays....
He rolled over twice for Aunt Julie (he hasn't done it since)
He slept through the night (He slept 7 hours straight. Emmett's xmas gift to us)
He found his hand. (At this point his hand pisses him off more than soothes him. He hasn't got the hand control down so he waps himself in the head most of the time)
He ate 6 ounces in one feeding
He went through a whole day without pooping (we paid for it the next day with three poopy diapers in a row)
We ate dinner at a restaurant with him
He peed in the backseat of the car when we changed his diaper
